Dyffryn Tywi Equine Clinic offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services for horses, ponies and donkeys.  The majority of this work is likely to be carried out at your premises.  However, if you bring your horse to the clinic, you will save a visit charge. 

We provide full 24 hour, 365 days per year emergency cover but, in order to maintain a high quality of service, this has to be restricted to a limited geographical area – see map.

In addition to treating sick or injured horses, we provide a number of routine services.  These include:

• Vaccinations

• Routine and emergency surgery including colt castrations, rig operations, hernias etc

• Breeding services including Artificial Insemination (fresh, chilled and frozen semen) ; we are a BEVA-approved centre

• Endoscopy, including 3m video endoscope for gastroscopy

• Pre-purchase examinations (vetting)

• Insurance examinations

• Laboratory services

• First and second opinions

• Veteran horse programme

• Passports

• Over-the-counter sales (e.g. wormers, supplements, first-aid)
